Bhubaneswar, May 6: CM Naveen and VK Pandian arrived at Bhubaneswar Airport in a special aircraft after the chopper they were earlier onboard made emergency landing in Jharsuguda on Monday.
The chopper was diverted to Jharsuguda due to an inclement weather in Bhubaneswar.
According to sources, the CM and Pandian boarded a special aircraft from the Jharsuguda Airport and flew for Bhubaneswar in the evening.
Worth mentioning, Naveen reached Bhubaneswar in a helicopter following an election campaign at Khariar under the Nuapada district. The chopper could not perform scheduled landing in the Biju Patnaik International Airport due to intensive rain, gusting wind and hailstone storm. As the storm continued for hours, the chopper after taking frequent rounds over the airport, headed towards Jharsuguda for a safe landing.
