Bhubaneswar, April 23: In a shocking incident, a youth was allegedly hacked by his father for a meagre amount of Rs 100. The incident occurred in Lalitagiri village under Mahanga police station in Odisha’s Cuttack district.
According to the information, an altercation ensued between Manas Behera and his son over Rs 100 to buy fish. Following the argument, Manas was so angry that he wanted to take revenge. Sunsequently, he hatched a plan and attacked his son while he was asleep at home.
However, the victim managed to escape from the deadly attack but he sustained severe injuries. He was immidiately rushed to Mahanga Community Health Centre then shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack as his contition worsened.
Locals also capture Manas crime and handed over to police while he was trying to flee after committing the crime.
