Bhubaneswar, April 27: The Directorate of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE) has directed to continue the online academic support programme for 12th class students during the summer vacation, started from April 25.
The DHSE has written to all the principals of government, upgraded, vocational and aided higher secondary schools in this regard.
The letter stated holiday homework for summer vacation will be given to 12th class students by their subject teachers following covered syllabus.
The DHSE also stated the online academic support programme for NEET and JEE aspirants will continue every day till 10 am during this period, expect for Sundays and government holidays.
Teachers will be given roster duty to supervise the online classes, said DHSE.
Students have been asked to contact the concerned teachers to clarify their doubts and the subject teachers will also interact with students and their parents whenever necessary.
Notably, the Odisha government had earlier launched holiday homework programme for students from class I to X. The School and Mass Education department has issued on SOP for successful implementation of the program.
