Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik to hold roadshow in Bhubaneswar, seeks support for BJD candidates

Bhubaneswar, May 16: Odisha Chief Minister and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) president Naveen Patnaik is set to lead a roadshow in Bhubaneswar today to rally support for his party's candidates in the upcoming election.

The roadshow, according to the itinerary, will kick off from Ganga Nagar Chhaka and traverse through several key locations including the LIC Office, Gopabandhu Chakka, DAV Chakka, Nuasahi, Behera Sahi, Nicco Park Chhaka, and Baya Baba Matha Chakka before concluding at Rupali Chhaka on Janpath Road.

Stringent security measures have been put in place for the Chief Minister's roadshow to ensure the safety and security of all participants.

To facilitate smooth traffic flow and regulate movement for the general public's convenience, the Bhubaneswar-Cuttack Police Commissionerate has implemented specific restrictions on vehicle movement along the designated route within Bhubaneswar city.

Effective from 4:30 pm until the culmination of the roadshow on May 16, 2024, vehicles are prohibited from traveling from Ganganagar Chhak to Sisubhawan Square via LIC Office Square, Gopabandhu Square, OUAT Gust House Square, DAV School Square Unit-8, IDFC Bank Square, Balunkeswar Temple Square, Mamtaj All School, Srikrishna Club, Behera Sahi Square, Nicco Park Square, Bayababa Math, Rupali Square, Ramamdnadir Square, Sriya Square, and Master Canteen Square.
