Bhubaneswar, Apr 26: The filing of nominations for the fifth phase of Lok Sabha elections 2024 in Odisha begins today.
This will be the second phase of elections in Odisha where simultaneous polls in five Lok Sabha seats and 35 Assembly constituencies will be held on May 20.
The Parliamentary constituencies where the elections will be held in the fifth phase include Bargarh, Bolangir, Sundargarh, Kandhamal, and Aska.
While the last day for filing nomination papers for the fifth phase polls is May 3, the scrutiny of nomination papers is scheduled on May 4 and the last date for withdrawal of nomination forms is May 6.
The Lok Sabha polls in Odisha will be held in four phases -- May 13, 20, 25, and June 1. The counting of votes will be done on June 4.
