However, the ganja peddlers absconded the spot.
Acting on the direction of Kandhamal SP, a raid was conducted by police near Gadrangia ghat under Baliguda police limits and seized over 40 quintals of ganja from there. Moreover, the cops also seized country-made pistols from the spot.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
On the other hand, security has been tightened along the bordering areas of Odisha in view of the ensuing elections.
