New Delhi, Ap 26: Prime Minister Narendra Modi criticized the Mamata government, attributing the loss of peace and happiness for 26,000 families in West Bengal to the widespread corruption of the Trinamool Congress.
Referring to the Calcutta High Court's decision to cancel thousands of teaching and non-teaching jobs in state-run schools, he blamed the Trinamool Congress for closing avenues for youth development and worsening conditions for those who supported the party financially.
Modi also accused the state government of hindering the distribution of Central funds meant for farmers and obstructing the implementation of national schemes like Ayushman Bharat.
He raised concerns about corruption in various sectors, including protection of individuals involved in crimes against women, and criticized both the Trinamool Congress and the Congress for engaging in appeasement politics and clandestine partnerships.
