Bhawanipatna, May 08: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today attacked the Biju Janata Dal (BJD) and Congress for decades of 'misgovernance'.
While addressing public meetings at Bhawanipatna and Rayagada, Rajnath Singh said Congress and BJD leaders have made a lot of promises in the past.
“Congress and BJD leaders have made a lot of promises in the past. Odisha would have been a rich state had they fulfilled their commitments even partially. It is the BJP which does what it says. Be it abrogation of 370 or construction of Ram Temple or abolishing Triple Talaq, BJP fulfilled its promises soon after it formed govt in Delhi,” he said.
The Minister said BJD has deprived the people of Odisha from getting the benefits of the Ayushman Bharat scheme.
He promised that the BJP will implement the scheme in odisha once it forms government in the state.
Informing that a lot of development work has taken place in the country under 10 years of PM Narendra Modi’s leaders,Singh urged the people to vote for the BJP candidates to ensure development in Kalahandi and Odisha at large.
“I have come to Odisha multiple times, but this time the atmosphere is different; people of Odisha are saying that we will win 21 out of 21 Lok Sabha seats,” the Minister said.
