Bhubaneswar, January 9: Two more accused persons were arrested on Thursday in connection with Police Mitra Sahadev Nayak’s brutal murder.
The Commissionerate Police apprehended two accomplices who allegedly connived to eliminate the police informer who used to inform the police and Excise officials regarding their brown sugar peddling.
Earlier on Wednesday, a special squad of the Odisha crime branch had apprehended two miscreants including a woman from the Sarankul area in the Nayagarh district.
Worth mentioning, Sahadev Nayak who was a leader of the BMC Janitors’ forum, was hacked to death in broad daylight near the La-Franklin Hotel at Rasulgarh, Bhubaneswar while riding a motorcycle.
