However, dhoka proves more fatal in lives of lovers, incase the spark of mistrust breaks ways out  despite a happier marital sweetness.

Such a love, live, dine and long livein story took a fatal and ferocious climax in Mahalaxmi, a salesgirl’s life in the IT-City Bangaluru, who was suspectedly  killed by   her lover Mukti Ranjan Roy on September 3 too barbarously and ferociously.

The 26-year Mahalaxmi was chopped off as mutton into atleast 59 portable pieces and stuffed inside the veggie box in a domestic refrigerator that was recovered by the Bangaluru police, almost after 18 days. At that time, the stuffed body parts were discovered almost decomposed and eaten up by worms and paracites.

Though the mystery of the Bangaluru-shocker love story have not yet been wrapped off, the most apparent reason behind the beast-like killing episode has come out as tragic fallout of blind love which later turned into hatred and anguish then rage, after unbelievable and unendurable Dhoka (deliberate betrayal) from the livein girl-partner.

Why did Muktiranjan kill Mahalakshmi?

The love story of Mahalaxmi with Muktiranjan Roy was bugun at a Bangalore-based mall where the former was a salesgirl and the latter was working as a supervisor. Mahalaxmi who was originally a Nepali guy but settled in the Tripura’s hilly region with her parents, was serving in the Bangaluru City, after a marital discord with her spouse who is supposedly a man of West Bengal. Mahalaxmi had also a school-going daughter of almost 12-years, who was living with her estranged father, living somewhere in the IT-City. However, Mahalxmi had joined the shopping mall with a tampered identity with a gullible name Mahalaxmi most prevalent in eastern and southernparts of India, to befriend youngsters easily. In her biodata & testimonial submitted to the mall authorities, she had mentioned that she is a virgin, in her marital status filled in the application form which was a part of the mall’s formalities. Meanwhile, amid the work distribution among the salesboys and girls, Muktikanta who hails from the Bhadrak district in Nothern Odisha, came closer to Mahalaxmi, for her sweet face and friendly attitude towards him. When the friendly relation turned into a love and it was further intensified, Mahalaxmi invited Muktikant to her residence, a rented building at an isolated area in Bangaluru, which was a few kilometres away from their workplace. With getting nearer, that too in lonely places and closed rooms, the lovebirds remained in physical relations for years. Subsequently, with the mutual attraction towards each other, the lovebirds opted to remain in a livein relationship, as Mahalaxmi stressed him for a statutory relationship, with the social affiliation of her family. However, Muktikant, expressed his unwillingness on the proposal, pleading that he is the eldest son of his family and the only bread-maker for them. “ I have some key liabilities to work  out for my parents’, he used to convince and evade legal marriage. This way the unmarried couple were living a conjugal life, more like a married couple for more than a year.

A bit dilution in their love emerged, when Mahalaxmi was more frequently discovered by Muktikant, found her engaged on phone, talking suspectedly to a stranger. Later, he ascertained that the caller from that side was a tailor-master who hails from a minority class. On being questioned on the affairs, she responded that, “I had to stitch some garments of my choice as he is a renowned boutique designer in the city.”  However, the mere explation of the lady was quite insufficient to convince him and win his faith over the matter. Thus, an ethical difference started cutting the duo’s heart and broke up wider day by day. A few days later, Muktikant discovered Mahalaxmi and the tailor-master in a secluded place in a café, and lost control over his anguish. He altered hot words with Mahalaxmi and began avoiding her gradually. However, daredevil Mahalaxmi started extracting money and valuable kinds, blackmailing the innocent guy, who was following her paths blindily for her wheat-fair physique and sweet-smelling words.

Another incident ruined the year-long relationship of the couple within a few seconds that took place a while ago. It was the reunion of Mahalaxmi’s married husband with her after a longish social separation that came to the notice of Muktikant, however it’s too late. The scene was like this, the couple was clinging each other on the bed with deep love and intimacy. On being enquired, the man introduced himself as the legal husband of Mahalaxmi and revealed that they have a daughter also who is taken care of by the grandparents. Meanwhile, an ugly duel broke out on the spot between the husbands, one legal and other virtual though livingin altogether wherein the man un-wrapped the vault and  modus of operandi of Mahalaxmi. He said that Mahalaxmi is a deliberate conwoman, to trap moneyed youths, pretends as an ideal partner and snatch everything in turn from them. Apart from it, he also revealed that Mahalaxmi belongs to a lower race , that she had also concealed from him(husband) before the duo’s marriage.

Following this, Muktikant had a deep hatred for her fiancée whereas he prepared to pack up for Kerla, to work else where. But, Mahalaxmi stood as the biggest barrier before him demanding a hefty but informal alimony for her maintenance. It was in fact beyond Muktikant’s capacity to comply with. He tried her level best to settle the matter amicably that too with an optimal amount as a price for his blindness and sin but in vain. Rather, the woman was adamant on her way, to threat police complaint. Even, she used to threaten him to kill chopping off his bodies and cook it in a pressure-cooker, if he fails to address her demand. On being panicked, he had to pay all penies that he had with him along with his gold ornaments to the conwoman which could not also satisfy the greedy lady.

Getting no way out, Muktikant in order to put the odd episode an end and to wipe out all the foot-prints of his blind love, made of his mind to kill Mahalaxmi, that he ultimately shaped into a reality as per his pre-plan, hatched a few weeks ago. On the fateful night he barged into Mahalaxmi’s rented house with a sharp hacksaw strangulated her throat till death. Later, he chopped her bled body into at least 59 pieces with mutton-making chopper and stuffed them in the veggie box in the freeze. Before taking the extreme step of suicide, Mukti Ranjan Ray confided in his mother about Mahalaxmi's actions, claiming she was extorting money from him. He alleged that she had taken his gold ornaments and was being unfaithful. Frustrated with her behavior, he ultimately decided to end her life.
