Mumbai, Jan 24: Actor Anil Kapoor extended warm birthday wishes to legendary filmmaker Subhash Ghai today and shared some throwback pictures.
Kapoor took to his Instagram Stories and posted two nostalgic throwback photos with Ghai, accompanied by a warm note reflecting on their journey together.
"Happy Birthday, Subhash Ghai Saab! Your wisdom and creativity continue to inspire everyone around you. I'm grateful for all the memories and lessons over the years. Wishing you health, happiness, and endless success always!" Kapoor wrote in the caption.
Notably, Subhash Ghai is known for classics like Karz, Pardes, Saudagar, and Khalnayak and has been a towering figure in Indian cinema since 1967, even making memorable cameo appearances in some of his films. Anil Kapoor has shared a long and successful association with Ghai, having worked together on iconic movies like Ram Lakhan, Karma, Meri Jung, Taal, and Trimurti.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kapoor is gearing up for his next action-thriller ‘Subedaar’. He announced the movie last December on his 68th birthday with an intriguing first-look teaser. The teaser, released by Prime Video India, introduces Kapoor in a gritty avatar as Subedaar Arjun Maurya.
The film also stars Radhika Madan as Shyama, Subedaar’s daughter. Directed by Suresh Triveni (Tumhari Sulu, Jalsa), Subedaar is produced by Opening Image Films and Anil Kapoor Film and Communication Network (AKFCN), with Kapoor, Vikram Malhotra, and Triveni as producers.
