Bhubaneswar, June 7: After the ministry reshuffle, the ruling Biju Janata Dal (BJD) is all set to effect an organizational change, keeping an eye on the 2024 general elections. According to party sources, the regional party would decentralize the organization system and divide it into four zones. A blueprint is being planned by the party leadership. BJD president and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and the ruling party's organizational secretary Pranab Prakash Das on Tuesday held a meeting with the leaders including ministers from the south and western Odisha. Sources said, the ministers, who were dropped in the recently held ministry reshuffle, will be given organizational responsibilities. Senior BJD leader and minister Pramila Mallick said the organization would be further strengthened across the state.
