Jamnagar (Gujarat), Jan 2: Akash Ambani, Director of Reliance Industries Limited, on Thursday pledged to establish cutting-edge AI infrastructure in Jamnagar—a city deeply cherished by the Reliance family. In a bold commitment, he announced that this ambitious project would be completed in just 24 months, reflecting the city’s spirit of rapid development and excellence.
Speaking alongside his siblings, Isha Ambani and Anant Ambani, Akash emphasized their collective vision for the future growth of Reliance. He made these remarks during an event celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Jamnagar Refinery.
"We are beginning work on the AI infrastructure in Jamnagar, and this will not only position Jamnagar as a leader in AI, but also place it among the global top-tier in this field," Akash said. "We are committed to finishing this project in true Jamnagar style—in record time, just as we have done with previous projects over the years."
He also highlighted the shared vision of the Ambani family, stating, "Isha, Anant, and I promise to continue working together to drive Reliance’s growth. Jamnagar will always remain the jewel of our family, and this commitment extends to all of Reliance, including our parents."
Akash further emphasized that in the era of new technology and digital innovation, Reliance is focused on transforming Jamnagar into a global leader in AI infrastructure.
The occasion also marked a significant milestone for Reliance, as the Jamnagar refinery—its first and a symbol of engineering excellence—celebrated 25 years since its inauguration on December 28, 1999. Over the years, Jamnagar has evolved into the world’s refining hub, standing as a proud testament to India's industrial capabilities.
