Bhubaneswar, Oct 31: The tragic train accident on the Vizianagaram to Kottavalasa Railway Section, part of the Howrah-Chennai Main line, continues to disrupt train services. On Tuesday, railway authorities announced the cancellation of three additional trains.
The Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) of Khordha Road Division reported that the following train services will be affected:
The Howrah-Secunderabad Falaknuma Express, Howrah-Bangalore Express, and Shalimar-Hyderabad East Coastal Express departing from Howrah/Shalimar on the current day (31.10.2023) will remain canceled.
Furthermore, the rescheduling of the following trains is as follows:
- The 18463 Bhubaneswar-Bangalore Prashanti Express, scheduled to depart from Bhubaneswar today (31.10.2023) at 05:30 a.m., will now depart at 10:00 a.m.
- The 12898 Bhubaneswar-Pondichery Express, initially scheduled to depart from Bhubaneswar at 12:10 p.m. today (31.10.2023), will now leave at 04:00 p.m.
- 12703 Howrah -Secunderabad Falaknuma Express, 12245 Howrah -Bangalore Express & 18045 Shalimar -Hyderabad East Coastal Express from Howrah/Shalimar, today (31.10.2023) will remain cancelled.
