Angul, January 26: In a tragic incident, two passengers were killed and several became critical after an OSRTC bus upturned near Samal.
According to report, the OSRTC bus which connects Angul & Baripada, was coming from Baripada today carrying passengers. Meanwhile, the driver lost control over the wheels near the Gaham Ashram under the Samal Police limit and upturned off the road.
On being informed, firefighters and police rushed to the spot and initiated a rescue operation. The injured ones were escorted to the Samal CHC for treatment.
A few victims are reportedly critical who necessitate high end care and referral, said an attending doctor.
