Bhadrak, Dec 11: As part of its modernization efforts, Indian Railways is upgrading Bhadrak Railway Station, a key station in the East Coast Railway (ECoR) zone.
The ongoing yard restructuring aims to improve train management, increase operational efficiency, and enhance passenger services.
The major upgrades include the interlocking of platforms to ensure smoother train movements, the extension of the Bay Line to a full-length platform, and the addition of extra loop lines. Additionally, work is underway on constructing a third track between Bhadrak and Ranital to further improve connectivity and reduce congestion.
These changes are expected to minimize waiting times for passengers, enable faster and smoother train operations, and enhance logistics at the station.
The modernization project is expected to take 47 days to complete. During this period, there will be some disruptions in services, including the cancellation, diversion, or partial cancellation of certain trains.
Passengers are requested to remain patient and cooperate with the temporary changes while understanding that these improvements will lead to better services in the long run.
The overall goal of this project is to strengthen the rail network, boost efficiency, and provide a more reliable and comfortable experience for travelers in the region.
Indian Railways assures that the long-term benefits of the upgrades will significantly outweigh the temporary inconveniences caused during the construction period.
