Bhubaneswar, February 14: A Bhim like buffalo bull from Rajasthan catches sight of visitors in Bhubaneswar exhibition.
The giant buffalo that usually lives on ghee, butter with other milk products and fetches at least Rs 30 Crore, has been showcased in the Fish & Animal husbandry Convention here in Bhubaneswar.
The speciality of the Jodhpur-based buffalo is that its seminal fluid yields high-breed bison species, that is sold out for high prices.
The gigantic bovine which weighs almost 1.5 ton has been nourished by one Arvind Jangid more like a body-builder, in a bid to conserve the high-valued species of buffalo, that’s almost at the bulk of extinction like the country-cows.
Thanks to Arvind, for his effort in taking utmost care to the rare buffalo. He is ferrying the buffalo in a special car designed for it, as luxurious as a sophisticated VIP cab wherein the animal travels with ease from one fair to other, to lend its precious semen and to create mass awaraness on rearing animals for passion.
“I was deeply fascinated towards the calf which was abnormally giant from its birth. I fell in love with it for its cuteness and charming look. Gradually it became my friend that shared every moment with me like a family member. Subsequently, I took extra care of it massaging mustard oil and other oily pulps to keep its skin soft and shiny, Said Jangid.
For its better health it’s sheltered in an AC shed that is regularly sterilized with anti-rodents and anti-mosquito reagents, Jangid added.
The giant- Bhim 4-legged wrestler is now a crowd puller in the agricultural fair, for its eminence & uniqueness. Cattle lovers from far & wide, borrows the semen of the bull for better breed of their livestock.
