Bhubaneswar, Jan 27: The 76th Republic Day was celebrated in Blossoms School in Bhubaneswar with great enthusiasm and passion with patriotic spirit.
The National Anthem honouring the beauty and resilience of India echoed with the hoisting of the Tiranga by the Chief Guest, Abhay IPS (Retd), Chairman, Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC).
Students engaged themselves in various cultural programs along with the March Past that displayed their commitment and discipline. The special awards ceremony was also conducted to honor eminent personalities in the fields of Literature, Art and Social Work.
Blossoms Excellence Award in Literature was presented to Satabdi Mishra and Akshya Bahibala; Blossoms Excellence Award in the field of Art was bestowed upon Ashish Pahi and Tejashree Pahi; and the Blossoms Excellence Award for Social Work was given to BenudharSenapati.
The other awards included the awards to the toppers of Std X for the session 2023-24 and to their respective mothers for supporting them throughout. The prize winners of the Blossoms Science Exhibition, Navonmesh 8.0 were also given the awards by the Chief Guest.
Further, the school also announced the 'Shining Star' and the 'All Rounder' awards which were given to the rightful awardees for their outstanding performances in different fields during the academic session.
Founder Manager, Touraj Moghbelpour, in his speech inspired the students to value democracy, unity and progress that define our great nation. Director, Nadia Moghbelpour addressed the students as the torch bearers of change and innovation. While Principal, Seemita Panda encouraged everyone to pledge to uphold the principles of our Constitution, contribute to society, and strive for greatness in all that we do.
The event was a great success indeed instilling a sense of national pride while setting the reminder to carry out our duties responsibly.
