Bhubaneswar, Feb 27: In a tragic incident, an X-ray technician was found hanging in Capital Hospital in Bhubaneswar last evening.
The deceased person has been identified as Prabhat Mohanty (45).
As per reports, hospital staff spotted Mohanty hanging in the X-ray room of the hospital around 7 pm and rushed him to the casualty ward. Unfortunately, the attending doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Upon getting the information, Capital Police arrived at the spot and seized the body. Subsequently, it was sent for post-mortem.
The cops registered a case of un-natural death and launched an investigation into the matter.
Though the exact reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that he might have committed suicide.
