The teaser of Toxic has overtaken Allu Arjun starred Industry hit Pushpa 2 The rule in view counts. The teaser makes a roaring jump to become the number one viewed teaser in the history of Indian Cinema.
In 24 hours, Toxic gained a whopping 35.9 million views zipping past Pushpa 2The Rule’s 27.6mn views.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic is a “Fairy tale for grown-ups.” Yash smoking cigar, donning hat with roving eyes was in a charismatic avatar in the first glimpse released. The glimpse shows that star’s dalliances with a nubile girl a cabaret and he soaking her in wine.
The gangster drama also features Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, and Huma Qureshi in lead roles. Like Pusha 2 The Rule, the makers are eyeing for December 2025 release. The film’s budget is stated to be around 200 crores.
Though it will be sandalwood film, it will be dubbed in languages like Hindi, Tamil Telugu and Malayalam.
