New Delhi, Ap 4: The BJP has strongly criticized Congress leader Randeep Surjewala for allegedly making sexist remarks directed at its MP, Hema Malini.
Amit Malviya, the chief of BJP's IT Department, took to social media platform X on Wednesday to share a video where Surjewala purportedly made objectionable comments about the incumbent Mathura MP.
In his post, Malviya condemned Surjewala's remarks, describing them as "vile, sexist, demeaning, and derogatory," not only towards Hema Malini, who is highly accomplished, but also towards women in general.
He went on to express his disgust, stating that such descriptions are utterly repulsive and unacceptable. Malviya pointed out that this behavior reflects the misogynistic tendencies of Rahul Gandhi's Congress, which shows a lack of respect for women.
Hema Malini has been nominated again to contest the Lok Sabha election from the Mathura seat in Uttar Pradesh.
