Bhubaneswar, Jan 24: Bhubaneswar residents faced severe disruptions on Friday morning as dense fog engulfed the capital city, reducing visibility and causing commuting chaos. Both urban and rural areas woke up to a dense white blanket.
As per reports, the fog significantly reduced visibility on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, causing difficulties for commuters.
The fog severely impacted the city, making it difficult for motorists to navigate. Traffic on major roads, including National Highway 16 and the Cuttack-Bhubaneswar Highway, slowed to a crawl, increasing the risk of accidents.
The state is currently enjoying a break from the intense cold wave that recently affected it. Although the fog is creating some difficulties, temperatures during both the day and night have risen, offering residents a welcome relief from the harsh cold across the region.
