Berhampur, Mar 23: In a disturbing case of animal cruelty reported from Berhampur in Odisha’s Ganjam district, some miscreants brutally attacked a stray dog with a sword early Sunday morning.
As per reports, the incident, reported from Gandhi Nagar in Berhampur, occurred at around 4 AM and has been caught on CCTV cameras installed nearby.
In the video, miscreants can be seen riding a scooter and carrying swords when a stray dog approached them, possibly looking for food. In a shocking act of cruelty, both of them got off the scooter and repeatedly stabbed the dog, leaving it badly injured.
The CCTV footage shows the dog trying to run away while the miscreants chased it.
The incident has raised questions about why they were carrying swords in the morning and whether they had other intentions.
The brutal attack on the stray dog has angered animal lovers, with many condemning the cruel act.
