Bhubaneswar, Jan 11: As Ekamra Utsav progresses, its charm continues to captivate the public. The seventh day of the festival saw an evening filled with excitement and cultural splendor. One of the main highlights was a mesmerizing performance by popular Ollywood singer Antara Chakraborty. She enthralled the audience with her soulful renditions of popular tracks and her own hits, creating an electrifying atmosphere. Fans at the venue were fully engaged, singing along and cheering her on.

Another significant attraction of the evening was the traditional Ghoda Nach, a unique folk dance that added cultural richness to the event. Meanwhile, the Flea Market and Food Festival drew large crowds, offering visitors a perfect blend of shopping and culinary experiences.

The Flea Market, with 33 vibrant stalls, showcased traditional and modern handicrafts, ornaments, and food products. Visitors enthusiastically explored the offerings, interacted with artisans, and purchased unique items. The Food Festival featured a wide array of cuisines from renowned restaurants, cafes, and hotels, including Odia specialties, vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, and a variety of desserts and beverages. The culinary delights left visitors spoilt for choice, creating a feast for both the eyes and taste buds. The city’s decorative lighting, especially around the main Ekamra Utsav venue, added to the festive ambiance. Visitors paused to take photos, selfies, and trending reels amidst the beautifully illuminated spaces, creating cherished memories.

At the same time, the Park Utsav, another integral part of Ekamra Utsav, continued across five major BDA parks—Indira Gandhi Park, Forest Park, Buddha Park, Madhusudan Park, and Abdul Kalam Park. Ollywood celebrities like Sailendra, Shivani, Swaraj, Bhumika, and Archita lit up the evenings with their performances. From singing and dancing to engaging with fans, they ensured an unforgettable experience for visitors. Earlier in the day, the parks hosted morning sessions of yoga, Zumba, and health talks, promoting fitness and well-being among park visitors. Afternoon activities included games, stand-up comedy shows, and storytelling sessions, drawing crowds of all ages.

Ekamra Utsav is being organized by the Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) as part of the celebrations for Pravasi Bharatiya Divas. The festival runs daily until January 16, featuring Ekamra Walks, the Flea Market, the Food Festival, Park Utsav, and spectacular city light decorations.
