Berhampur, January 11: A bag filled with as many as 30 live bombs was recovered from an under-construction building in Berhampur on Saturday.
After recovery of the bombs from the Khajuria area, they were safely diffused by the police, said report.
Police said, during patrolling, some miscreants were found fleeing from a secluded semi-built house located at the Khajuraia area. Smelling something odd, the PCR team searched the area and recovered a bag filled with live bombs.
Following this, the bomb disposal cell was informed to dispose the live bombs safely.
Information regarding the youths who escaped from the building is under investigation.
Police is verifying the CCTV footages from the adjoining passes to reach at the miscreants.
