Know the itinerary for Prez Droupadi Murmu Odisha visit on Navy Day Celebrations

Bhubaneswar, Dec 3: President Droupadi Murmu is set to visit Odisha for a five-day official tour, beginning from today. During her visit, she will participate in a series of important events, including the Indian Navy Day celebrations on December 4.
According to the schedule, President Murmu will arrive at Bhubaneswar Airport at 5:00 pm on today. The following day, on December 4, she will begin her day with a visit to the renowned Jagannath Temple in Puri, from 10:15 am to 10:40 am, where she will offer prayers.
Later in the day, at 3:55 pm, President Murmu will head to Puri’s Blue Flag Beach, where she will attend the Navy Day celebrations as the Chief Guest.
The Navy Day event, hosted by Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi, Chief of Naval Staff, will feature a grand Operational Demonstration by the Indian Navy. The event commemorates Operation Trident, a significant naval operation during the 1971 Indo-Pak War.
The demonstration will include more than 15 ships, submarines, and over 40 aircraft, supported by Marine Commandos (MARCOS) and Indian Army personnel. Attendees can expect thrilling aerial displays by MiG-29K and Hawk fighter jets, combat exercises by MARCOS, submarine operations, amphibious landings, and rocket firing from warships.
On December 5, President Murmu will attend the 40th Convocation of the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (OUAT) in Bhubaneswar. She will also be the Chief Guest at the inauguration of the New Judicial Court Complex in the city.
The President will spend December 6 and 7 in her home district of Mayurbhanj before returning to New Delhi on December 7.
This visit marks an important occasion for Odisha and highlights President Murmu’s commitment to promoting various sectors, including education, the judiciary, and the Indian Navy.
