Bargarh, Nov 2: In a tragic incident, a man committed suicide after stabling his wife to death with a sharp weapon in Bargarh district on Friday.
The deceased couple have been identified as Sora Bhue and Sunita Bhue, who were staying ina rented house at Kusanpuri village under Bhatli police limits.
According to the Bhatli police, the couple was married 14 years ago and had been living in the area for the past four years.
They used to fight over family feud. An altercation broke out between the duo last night. Sora lost his cool and stabbed his wife in the abdomen with a sharp weapon. Sunita died on the spot following which Sora locked him inside the house and committed suicide.
The house owner came to know about it the incident in the morning and informed the Bhatli police.
Police officials along with a scientific team visited the spot and collected evidence with seizure of the knife used in the murder. The bodies have been recovered and sent for post-mortem.
