New Delhi, June 28: Manisha Koirala, who recently returned to the spotlight with the OTT series Heeramandi, emphasized that entering the entertainment industry for superficial reasons is misguided. Speaking at a media event, she advised newcomers: "If you truly love acting, cinema, or any technical aspect of filmmaking, pursue it wholeheartedly. Despite challenges, your dedication will bring joy. However, chasing superficialities like glamour and money leads you astray. These are merely by-products; true fulfillment comes from genuine passion and commitment."
Regarding Heeramandi and her collaboration with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Manisha expressed admiration: "Working with Bhansali was extraordinary. His mastery and dedication are inspiring. Joining Heeramandi was a timely opportunity for me, offering the passion and commitment I seek at this stage. It has been a beautiful journey with SLB and talented co-stars."
