​​​​​​​Bengaluru, Oct 22: In a tragic incident, a newlywed Odia couple from Odisha’s Keonjhar district was found dead in Bengaluru.

The Jubuni police recovered the bodies from a rented accomadation late at night on Tuesday.

The deceased have been identified as Rakesh Patra and his wife Seemarani, hailed from Telkoi Deuldiha village in Keonjhar district.

According to preliminary reports, the couple had been residing in Bengaluru for nearly three years.Both of them were engaged in an apparel making company, while they tied their knots, after reportedly a few-month livein relationship.

Everything was going well, meanwhile they were not seen anywhere for a few days while their rented house was found closed.

Suspecting something wrong, the neighbours dialled police reporting of the missing couple. Based on the information, the police reached the spot and broke open the doors getting no response from the couple. Meanwhile, they recovered the couple’s bodies hung from the ceiling.

Following inquests, the bodies were sent for autopsy to determine the exact cause behind the death.

The Jubuni Police registered a case and initiated an investigation to uncover the circumstances leading to the couple’s death.

On the other hand, the deceased couple’s family members in Odisha suspect foul plays behind the death of their kin.
