Bhubaneswar, February 8: Ace Odia film star Uttam Mohanty’s health condition is critical.
He is now under life support system in the Appollo Hospital Bhubaneswar due to his liver related ailments, informed Uttam’s son Babushaan on Friday.
Concerned on Uttam’s detoriarating health conditions, Babushaan said that he is preparing to shift his father to another hospital in Delhi or Hyderabad for better care.
Dr. Manoj Kumar Sahu who is treating Uttam here in Bhubaneswar said that Mohanty’s health condition is almost stable. He is now in the ventilator.
Dr. Sahu also said, “Uttam has been treated under my supervision for his liver related diseases for the last couple of months. Meanwhile, his liver function almost ceased. Apart from it, he is struggling with multi-organ failure.
It’s why his family members have been advised to shift Mohanty to a higher-end hospital, preferably in New Delhi by air-ambulance soon, for promt resuscitation Dr. Sahu added.
