Dhenkanal, June 26: Seikh Hanif Ali, a dedicated video journalist for Odia TV Channel News 7, tragically passed away following severe multiple injuries sustained in a road accident.
The incident occurred near Kunjakanta Canara Bank in Odisha’s Dhenkanal district on June 19. Initially treated at Dhenkanal District Headquarters Hospital, Hanif was later transferred to a private hospital in Cuttack where he underwent brain surgery.
Despite efforts, he succumbed to his injuries at 10:30 AM on Wednesday morning.
Hanif, aged only 34, leaves behind a grieving family, including his three sons aged one and a half years, seven years, and eleven years old. Known for his amiable demeanor, soft-spoken nature, philanthropic spirit, and fearless journalism, Hanif had become well-loved both in Dhenkanal district and within the News 7 family.
His untimely demise is an irreplaceable loss to his colleagues and the wider community he served faithfully.
