Mumbai,Oct 22: While the ‘Bombay Times Fashion Week 2024’, showcased a spectacular exhibition of fashion prowess including exquisite apparel and jewellery collections picked from renowned fashion houses across the country, ace Odia fashion designer Salina Samal’s ‘Royal Ally’ outshone in the grand event.
Odia antiquities-embodied chic designs fortified with rich Odia tradition and cultural heritages mesmerized the Bollywood queens who stole a look at the ‘Royal Ally’ artifacts, showcased in the event during their merry go round on the fashion ramp.
Here in the national exhibition organized at Grand Hyatt Hotel, Mumbai, the Royal Ally label Salina Samal entrepreneur and designer proudly presented the exquisite Chiraiyaa collection embodying the essence of the modern,empowered vivacious, Indian woman, still connected to their traditional history & culture.
It was a stunning display of Odia craftmanship in the use of elements like sea shells, tahiya, and mirror work on traditional handwoven fabrics with reimagining the silhouettes in terms of contemporary, modernised fashion trends.
The elegant and charming Bollywood celebrity Sanjeeda Seikh graced the ramp and heaped all praises for the chic designs and royal collections from the Royal Ally Brand.
Renowned fashion Desinger and maestro of the ‘Royal Ally’ Salina Samal inherits, the ‘Samal Group of Traders’ family in Odisha’s Dhenkanal District that has earned a good name & fame in trading Tata and MG Brand Automobiles.
