Bhubaneswar, June 29: The Odisha Legislative Assembly affairs will be fully digitalized,said Speaker Surama Padhy on Saturday.
Padhy while addressing a training programme relating to the National e-Vidhan Application (NeVA) said that the assembly will go paperless while all of its activities will be performed through e-office and digitalization.
However, she said that a fully NeVA-powered Vidhan Sabha will take a few years to be functional.
The process has already been initiated with a training programme of officers of District Information Centres(DICs), she said.
“We have plans to train all the legislators including the newcomers through NeVA. It’s why the NeVA tablets with the upgraded App have been installed on each MLA’s desks. Efforts are also underway to groom all the members to be tech-savvy”, the Speaker informed.
