Bhubaneswar, July 25: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday renamed the Krushak Assistance for Livelihood and income Augmentation (KALIA) Yojana as CM-Kisan Yojana and proposed an outlay of Rs 1,935 crore in the annual budget for 2024-25 financial year.
This scheme was announced by former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in 2018 under which, an eligible farmer gets Rs 4,000 per year in two instalments.
In the first instalment, Rs 2000 is provided for the kharif season, and in the second instament, an additional Rs 2000 is given for the rabi crop.
