Bhubaneswar, Nov 21: Odisha's Deputy Chief Minister, Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, spoke on Thursday regarding the exit polls for Maharashtra and Jharkhand, asserting that only the NDA government could provide a stable administration for the states.
Speaking to the media, Deo said, "There are just two more days to wait. The people of India want a stable government, and I believe that only the NDA can deliver that stability."
Exit polls conducted on Wednesday predicted that the ruling Mahayuti in Maharashtra is likely to retain power, and the NDA also has an edge in Jharkhand. However, most exit polls also suggested that the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) would put up a strong fight but would fall short of securing a majority in the 288-member Maharashtra Assembly.
