Puri, Nov 14: Lakhs of devotees thronged Jagannath Temple in Puri to have a glimpse of the Tribikram besha (Adikia) of the holy Trinity on the third day of Panchuka.

The daily rituals began with Mailum followed by Tadap Laagi, Abakas and Rosahoma. The Trinity was adorned in the Tribikram besha after an offering of Gopal bhog.

The Tribikram besha which is also known as Adikia Besha is marked a special hairstyle on the heads of Lord Jagannath and Lord Balabhadra, which is done with intricate care. Gold-crafted ornaments are also embedded in the crown.

Additionally, a golden crescent is placed on the top of the heads of both brothers, Lord Jagannath and Lord Balabhadra, along with their sister Subhadra. The heads are adorned with various golden ornaments, including Ghagadamali, Barakolimali, Padmamali, Ganimali, Shreebhuj, Haridamali, Bahadamali, along with Hal, Mushal, Shankha, Chakra, and Pata fabric, completing the traditional Adikia or Tribikram attire.
