More than Just Exams

This year, over 3.3 crore students(20.71 lakh teachers, and 5.51 lakh parents) signed up for PPC—enough to fill Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium 600 times over. But our PM’s message wasn’t just about scoring marks. It was about playing the long game. “Exams are like net practice in cricket,” he said. “Focus on the ball, not the crowd.” Here’s the game plan he shared:

Time Management: “Timetables aren’t prison sentences—they’re your playbook,” PM Modi quipped. His advice? Tackle tough subjects first, like a batsman facing a tricky bowler. “Spend extra time on weak areas, but don’t skip the ones you love. Balance is key.”

Teachers, Be Talent Scouts: To educators, PM Modi had a fresh take: “Don’t just teach chapters—spot hidden talents.” Imagine a math teacher noticing a student’s knack for numbers or a sports coach nurturing a future Olympian. “Every child has a superpower. Help them find it.”

Books vs. Life Skills: PM urged families to let kids breathe. “Hobbies aren’t distractions—they’re life skills in disguise. Let them paint, play guitar, or daydream. That’s how resilience is built.”

Pressure? Channel It Like a Cricketer: Using a cricket analogy that hit home, PM said, “When cricketer’s faces a bouncer, he doesn’t panic. He adjusts his grip. Exams are the same—stay calm, trust your prep, and swing smart.”

Sleep > All-Nighters: To the coffee-guzzling, all-nighter-pulling students, PM Modi had a gentle warning: “Your brain isn’t a machine. Feed it *dal-rice*, not just instant noodles. Sleep 7 hours—it’s non-negotiable!”

The Takeaway: PM wrapped up with a golden rule: “Don’t let exams define you. Knowledge is lifelong; marks are just a chapter.” The session wasn’t just pep talk—it was a mindset shift. As Sadhguru later added, “Stress is like salt. A little enhances the dish; too much ruins it.”

Thus when exam approaches, remember our PMs pro tips: Plan like a coach, focus like a cricketer, and chill like you’re binge-watching your favorite show. After all, life’s biggest tests aren’t on paper—they’re how you bounce back, dream big, and keep smiling through the chaos.
