Bhubaneswar, Nov 29: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Odisha’s capital city Bhubaneswar this afternoon. On arrival at Bhubaneswar airport, he was received by Odisha Governor Raghubar Das, Chief Minister Charan Majhi.
Home Minister Amit Shah who arrived in the city earlier today to attend the All India Conference of Director Generals and Inspector Generals of Police 2024, also reached the airport to welcome the PM.
He was accorded an enthusiastic welcome on his way to a public meeting he is scheduled to address. After addressing the meeting PM Modi is scheduled to discuss developmental work of the new BJP government in Odisha at party headquarters here.
Tomorrow he will attend the All India DGP/IGP Conference. According to the Prime Minister's Office, the three-day conference, will include deliberations on critical components of national security, including counterterrorism, left-wing extremism, coastal security, new criminal laws, and narcotics, among others.
