Pravasi Bharatiya Divas 2025: Prez Droupadi Murmu to conclude the event

Bhubaneswar, Jan 10: President Droupadi Murmu is scheduled to wrap up the 18th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas today.
Sources said, Murmu reached at the Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar in the evening where Odisha Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, BMC Mayor Sulochana Das along with other higher officials graced her.
Following this, Murmu was escorted to the Raj Bhawan where she is scheduled to have her night halt.
The president will set out from Raj Bhavan at 11 am to reach the venue of PBD 2025. Following which, She will deliver a speech on the contribution of the diaspora at the ceremony.
The president will also award 17 Pravasi Bharatiyas for their excellent contribution in their respective field.
After spending about 5 hours, she will leave for the airport.
Notably, the road from Raj Bhavan to Nalco Chowk will be completely closed from 11:20 am to 11:50 am today to allow the President’s motorcade to reach the venue.
