Telugu superstar Allu Arjun was granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court on Friday in connection with the stampede the premiere of his blockbuster film 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' in Hyderabad Sandhya Theatre. The High Court said Arjun, despite being an actor, had the right to life and liberty as a citizen.
The verdict comes as a major relief for the actor after he was sent to judicial custody for 14 days by a lower court in connection with the stampede at the iconic Sandhya theatre that left a 39-year-old woman dead.
