Rain lashes most parts of Odisha: IMD predicts rain in these districts during next 24 hours

Bhubaneswar, Dec 21: Light to moderate rainfall has occurred at many places over the districts of Odisha with heavy rainfall at one or two places over the districts of Nayagarh, Khordha, Puri, Jagatsinghpur, and Ganjam of Coastal Odisha.
The chief amount of rainfall (in cms): Ranpur (Nayagarh) 11, Begunia (Khurda) 8, Berhampur (Ganjam) 8, Jatni (Khordha) 7, Khordha Pto (Khurda) 7, Pipili (Puri) 7, Naugaon (Jagatsinghpur) 7, Banpur (Khurda) 7, Belaguntha (Ganjam) 7, Krishnaprasad (Puri) 7, Gop (Puri) 7, Purushottampur (Ganjam) 7, Tangi (Khurda) 6, Jagatsinghpur (Jagatsinghpur) 6, Paradeep Cwr (Jagatsinghpur) 6, Gopalpur (Ganjam) 6, Dharakote (Ganjam) 6, Bhanjnagar (Ganjam) 6, Balikuda (Jagatsinghpur) 6, Hinjili (Ganjam) 6, Chikiti (Ganjam) 6, Banki (Cuttack) 5, Digapahandi (Ganjam) 5, Kolnara (Rayagada) 5, Paralakhemundi (Gajapati) 5, Chilika (Khordha) 5, Gunupur (Rayagada) 5, Chhatrapur (Ganjam) 5, Bhubaneswar Aero (Khurda) 5, Gosani (Gajapati) 5, R Guda (Rayagada) 5, Mundali (Cuttack) 5, Nayagarh (Nayagarh) 5, Ganjam (Ganjam) 5, Aska (Ganjam) 5, Odagaon (Nayagarh) 5, Bolagarh (Khurda) 5, Tirtol (Jagatsinghpur) 5, Nuagaon (Nayagarh) 5, Kodala (Ganjam) 5, Polsara (Ganjam) 5.
The highest maximum temperature of 30.0°C was recorded at Nuapada and the lowest minimum temperature of 13.6°C was recorded at Angul in the plains of Odisha.
Light to moderate rain is very likely to occur at many places in the districts of coastal Odisha & at a few places over the districts of Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Sundargarh, Boudh, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Koraput & dry weather very likely to prevail over the rest districts of Odisha during the next 24 hours, the IMD said.
Dense fog is very likely to occur at one or two places over the district of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Keonjhar, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Koraput.
