Bhubaneswar, December 18: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted light to moderate rainfall across Odisha over the next two days, with isolated thunderstorms and lightning on December 19 and 20.
In the next 24 hours, light rain is likely to occur in Ganjam and Gajapati districts.
Additionally, the minimum temperature across the state is expected to rise by 3 to 5 degrees Celsius during this period.
Farmers, especially paddy cultivators, are advised to safeguard their crops to prevent damage from the impending rain. Residents should ensure adequate drainage measures to minimize the risk of waterlogging and related issues.
