New Delhi, January 26: Over 5,000 folk and tribal artists showcased 45 vibrant dance forms across India during the 76th Republic Day celebrations. For the first time, these performances spanned the entire length of Kartavya Path, ensuring that every guest had a full and immersive viewing experience.
The 11-minute cultural presentation, titled “Jayati Jaya Mamaḧ Bharatam,” was curated by the Sangeet Natak Akademi. The choreographed spectacle brought to life the diverse and colorful traditions of the country’s tribal and folk art forms, serving as a tribute to the 150th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
