Kolkata, Oct 21: At a time when the mystery of the rape & murder of a junior doctor at RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata, is yet to be unwrapped, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has focused on retriving the erased data from the cell phone of the former Principal Dr. Sandip Ghosh and the IIC of the Tala Police station.
The CBI sleuths are frantically trying to retrieve the lost data from the two co- accused persons Dr Sandip Ghosh and Abhijit Mondal’s cell phones in order to find significant lead regarding the ghastly rape and murder case.
Based on some suspicious data exchange over phone between Dr Ghosh and Mondal following the heinous incident on August 9, the Central agency is laying emphasis to dig out more clues from duo’s mobile phones to probe tampering of evidence and misleading the investigation, earlier leveled against them.
It’s why the CBI has sought the assistance of the service providers and IT experts, to retrieve the detail call records (DPR), replay audio recording of the conversations and all correspondences between them after the junior doctor’s body was spotted in the seminar hall.
Worth mentioning, the CBI is now jumbled to stand on a crossword puzzle as Mondal refused to give his consent for undergoing polygraph test and even for his narco-analysis despite court’s permission.
