Bhubaneswar, Jan15: In a significant development in the Sahadev Nayak murder case that occurred near the Rasulgarh flyover, DNA tests will be conducted on blood stains found on the clothing of the suspects.
The blood samples have already been sent to the State Forensic Science Laboratory for detailed analysis.
Souces said, a special probe team is reviewing evidence, including footage from 55 CCTV cameras, to the sequence of events.
Five suspects have already been apprehended by the special squad of Commissionerate Police.
While prima facie revealed that reason behind the murder may be the past enmity.
Worth mentioning, the accused are also allegedly linked to the illegal brown sugar trade.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
