Sainik School Bhubaneswar celebrates 60th founder’s day

Bhubaneswar, Feb 1: The 60th founder’s day was organized with great enthusiasm and grandeur in the honour of Late Biju Patnaik, the founder of Sainik School Bhubaneswar. Group Captain S Dominic Rayan, Principal, Sainik School graced the occasion as the Chief Guest for the events in the presence of Cdr Pritika Sharma, Administrative Officer, Cdr Usha Sangwan, Vice Principal and staff, In his address to cadets the school Principal appeal to the cadets to imbibe the great qualities of Biju Babu like bravery, hard work, patriotism. The entire event was witnessed by the school cadets virtually. On the occasion of founder’s day celebration of the School, Gp Capt Rayan, garlanded the statue of Biju Pattanaik and inaugurated the programme by cutting cake and cadet Binit Patra & Cadet Archit Das joined him. D Golani, teacher spoke on life and contribution of Late Shri Biju Patnaik. In the afternoon Card Making, Poster Making, English Essay Writing, Hindi and English Recitation Competitions were conducted in which the cadets participated online. The Programme was co-ordinated by Bikas Debta, English Teacher.
