Mumbai, June 19: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has officially begun shooting for his upcoming film 'Sikander' and has shared a photo with director A.R. Murugadoss from the set. The actor also expressed his excitement for the film’s release on Eid 2025.
Salman took to X to share the picture, which also includes producer Sajid Nadiadwala. In the image, the trio is seen looking at a screen, with Salman sporting sunglasses, a mauve T-shirt, and earrings. He captioned the photo: “Looking forward to #Eid2025 with team #Sikandar. #SajidNadiadwala’s #Sikandar Directed by @ARMurugadoss @iamRashmika @NGEMovies @WardaNadiadwala #SikandarEid2025.”
Reports indicate that a look test and photo shoot for the film were conducted on Tuesday. A video from the set has already started circulating on social media.
On April 11, during Eid celebrations this year, Salman announced the title of his next film, directed by Murugadoss, which will also feature Rashmika Mandanna. He had posted: “Iss Eid 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan' aur 'Maidaan' ko dekho aur agli Eid 'Sikandar' se aa kar milo... Wish u all Eid Mubarak!"
While details about 'Sikander' remain under wraps, Salman’s recent filmography includes 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan,' an action comedy directed by Farhad Samji, and 'Tiger 3,' a spy action thriller directed by Maneesh Sharma.
