Puri, Nov 23: While the belongings of Puri Ratna Bhandar including the gems and jewels were a mystery for the world before its inventory, existence of secret chambers and underground tunnels inside the treasure trove, are yet to be ascertained.
It’s why the ASI had undertaken a Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) survey to unwrap the mystery shrouded over the ancient theories. Meanwhile, the GPR survey report was obtained today by the Shri Jagannath Temple Administration that mentions clearly on the unsolved jumble.
The SJTA Chief Administrator Dr Arabinda Kumar Padhee informed it on Saturday that the ASI submitted the GPR report to the temple administration, for favor of treasuring the gems and jewels to the permanent place.
Dr Padhee, however did not mention any thing regarding the existence/ non-existence of any secret chamber or an underground tunnel in the inner Ratna Bhandar.
