Bhopal, December 7: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Sunday reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to transforming India’s education landscape, stating that the goal is to build a system completely free from colonial mindset and rooted in national self-pride by 2035.

“Under the guidance of the esteemed Prime Minister Narendra Modi, our resolve is that by the year 2035, we will establish an education system fully free from colonial mindset and mentality and filled with self-pride,” said Pradhan while gracing a day-long State-level workshop on the National Education Policy 2020 – Implementation, Challenges, and Possibilities, organised in Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh.

Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav also attended the workshop.

“Madhya Pradesh is emerging as a leading State that is advancing both the National Education Policy 2020 and Indian culture at an equal pace. Madhya Pradesh will remain a young state for the next 25 years and will play a decisive role in the vision of a Developed India,” said Pradhan.

Pradhan said, “When traditional knowledge is integrated with new technology through the use of AI, Madhya Pradesh and other States of the country will gain a new milestone. To fulfill the Prime Minister's resolve for a Developed India, Madhya Pradesh must take the lead in initiatives like AI Tutors.”

Highlighting the importance of Nutrition Campaign, Pradhan said, “The effort to ensure balanced nutrition for students through the Nutrition Campaign is itself a crucial foundation of education reforms. Good nutrition not only enhances children's concentration and learning ability but also helps them become healthy, confident, and capable citizens; it is this capable youth power that will realise the dream of a 'Developed India.”
