Bhubaneswar, October 27: Deo Ranjan Singh, Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) of Odisha government on Sunday sought damage assessment reports from collectors of 14 districts severely impacted by Cyclone Dana.

The SRC has instructed district collectors to submit comprehensive assessments of the cyclone's impact, covering agriculture losses, crop damage, power infrastructure, and housing destruction, by November 2.

In addition, heads of relevant departments have been directed to provide their respective damage reports by the same deadline.

This initiative aims to consolidate an accurate and detailed account of the cyclone's effects, facilitating prompt relief and restoration measures.
